I’m thinking about starting a new section on the ol’ blog page here, highlighting the most important person to this website and to my videos…YOU! I’d like to see your recreations of the videos I’ve done and the videos to come and I was wondering if you all would be interested in seeing reader/subbie recreations as well. So, how bout it? Sound interesting?

I think it’s a great idea! I just stumbled accross your blog and am loving it! I saw that you used afterglow mineral makeup in some of your looks…would you be able to give a review on it? I haven’t read or heard a whole lot about them! TIA!
Personally, I think that there are better options when it comes to mineral makeup. Don’t get me wrong. Afterglow Cosmetics isn’t a bad line. I have 4 colors, a bronzer, 2 blushes, a mascara, 2 eye liners (one powder, one pencil), their Color Lock formula, a couple lipsticks and glosses, and their foundation. They’re foundation overall isn’t bad. I actually really like it as far as mineral foundation is concerned. I also like their blushes/bronzer. I find that it applied easily and leaves a beautiful glow on the skin. The mineral eye shadows, however, aren’t a favorite of mine. They tend to fall into the typical “barely there” boringness that is typically associated with mineral makeup. If you’re looking for mineral line that offers a lot of color and good color pay off, then I’d go with Beauty From the Earth. But if you are more into the softer, barely there, offers just enough of a touch of color for you type of shadows, then Afterglow may be what you’re looking for. :)
Thanks for the input! I’m not planning to buy any eyeshadows but I have been wanting to try the lipsticks, blush, bronzer and foundation. :)
