Ulta Buy 2 Get 2 Free Haulage!
So I went to Ulta today after watching a few skin care videos to get TWO skin care products and nothing more…but this is what I ended up walking out with instead…
4 – Maybelline Colossal Mascaras in Glam Black
1 – RoC Retinol Correxion Eye Cream
1 – RoC Age Defining Night Cream (yes I know I’m only 27 but it’s never too early to start!)
1 – Double pack of UDPP
2 – Bed Head Brunette Goddess Shine Sprays
1 – Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide (damn impulse buy while waiting in line!)
1 – Catwalk Fashionista Spritz & Shine
1 – Catwalk Fashionista Smooth & Shine
1 – Eurcerin Everyday Protection Face Lotion with SPF 30 (one of the items I actually went to get! The other, they didn’t have!)
1 – Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
1 – Biolage Ultra-Hydrating Shampoo
1 – Biolage Smoothing Conditioner (the BIG bottle, lol)
1 – Biolage Fortifying Leav-In Treatment
1 – Biolage Smoothing Serum.
All in all, the Matrix products (Biolage), TIGI products (Bed Head and Catwalk), and Maybelline products were buy 2 get 2 free. Everything else was just stuff I’ve been wanting to try and/or had heard was great through word of mouth…or the girl behind the register told me this or that was good so I hauled all my stuff back into the basket and went looking for it to add to my list.
I got $29.00 knocked off for two of the Matrix products, another $29 marked off for two of the TIGI products and $13 knocked off for two of the Maybelline mascaras. See? SOOooo, it really wasn’t THAT bad. I will say that it all started with the mascara though. When I saw that all Maybelline products were included in the B2G2, I figured I’d get 4 mascaras and be set for the year! Haha!
As for all the hair products…well, I’m trying to be more hair savvy. So I figured I’d jump the gun while the products were on sale. I’ve used Biolage shampoos and conditioners before and loved them, as well a Redken shampoos & conditioners, but other than that, I never really stepped into the realm of fancy shmancy hair care/styling products. I’ve never even tried anything by TIGI before..or Paul Mitchell. So here we go. The cherry’s been popped on two different brands. No, I won’t use all the products in my hair at one time, but it sure will be fun testing them out! Do I smell a future post coming on?
