Kryolan Aquacolor Day Glow Effects Palette
I’m sure you all have already heard about this palette from xsparkage, and when I saw this video and how bright blinding these colors were, I had to get it! I had been looking at Kryolan products for a while now but didn’t know a reputable site to purchase from. So when Leesha had recommended shrinkle on ebay, I jumped on the bandwagon to get my own Day Glow UV Palette.
This was my first time ever doing an order on ebay, and now, needless to say, I’ve probably just opened up a whole new way to feed my addiction. I ordered the palette on the 22nd (Tuesday), shrinkle contacted me on the 24th (Thursday) about the order, put it in the mail on the 25th (Friday), and I got it in my mail, yesterday, on the 28th (Monday). So overall, not too bad on shipping time…about a week in turn-around time, which I’m happy with. If you decide you want to get this palette, I’d highly recommend going through her. Needless to say, I’ll probably end up getting the metallic aquacolor palette she has on her site as well as some other neat stuff!
Anyhoo, I took some swatches of the palette. I was about to run out to the mall to take some pictures of the swatches underneath the black light display at Spencers, but then my husband reminded me that we have a black light of our own that we used for our Halloween decorations last year. Haha! I haven’t had a chance to really play with them other then swatching them yet, but I can guarantee you it will be within the next few days. In the mean time, enjoy the swatches!
All swatches were done on my forearm, with no base, and applied with a Loew Cornell 3/8″ Maxine’s Mop Brush and water.
