Greenpeace posted a new bulletin on Myspace and I felt compelled to share it with you here via copy and paste. :) Enjoy!
Undercover Greenpeace reps threw a curve ball to another Kleenex advertising shoot, this time at Wrigley Field in Chicago – home of the Chicago Cubs. Kleenex struck out again! Watch our video to see the second Greenpeace “Let It Out” intervention.
Take Action! Please rate the video and leave a good comment on You Tube for Kleenex To Read!
Kimberly-Clark, the maker of Kleenex, is driving the destruction of the ancient Boreal Forest, the largest tract of ancient forest left in North America and an important habitat for bears, cubs, and other wildlife. Kleenex is made from “100% virgin fiber” (0% recycled) and Kimberly-Clark is clearcutting the Boreal Forest to get it. Read more about it here.
We’re asking Kimberly-Clark to immediately stop purchasing virgin fiber logged from endangered forests, and to drastically increase the use of recycled fiber in their products. So far, they’ve refused.
We’re going to keep on disrupting K-C’s advertising campaign (and more!) until they stop clearcutting the Boreal!
PEACE
Erik and Lauren
